Order entry and recording all criteria around an order, often times straight through to invoice generation. ERP may also include some component of expense management recording and/or Vendor/PO purchasing and inventory management

The most complex and expensive business accounting software is frequently part of an extensive suite of software often known as Enterprise resource planning or ERP software.
