SAP Solution Manager configuration

How to install and configure SAP solution manager 7.0. Can I get step-by-step installation guide for the same. We are using SAP ECC 6.0 IS-Retai and BIW. We want to use SAP soluttion manager to manage our entire SAP landscape, user support/incident management, change request management etc.

HI,

On the SAP service marketplace http:\\service.sap.com you will be able to find the Solution Manager Install guide for SAP Solution Manager 7.0 or EHP1. The version of the client systems i.e. your BW systems does not matter although there might be some limitations in support or newer functions which might not be available for older sattelite systems.

On the service marketplace website go to the following.

Downloads>SAP Installations and Upgrades>Installation and Upgrade Guides

This should open a second window where you can just scroll down to SAP Solution Manager.

From here you can select what you want to download according to your database and OS preference.

This link has the installion guides you are looking for. If it does work you will have to have an ID to log onto the site.
