Can anyone help me in sending any resource on installation procedure of SAP R/3 on Windows 2000 Server and DB2 Database ?

take a look on sapnet at url:
http://service.sap.com/instguides
(log on with your OSS-Number & Password)
an navigate to : -> Installation & Upgrade Guides -> SAP R/3 Enterprise -> SAP R/3 Enterprise Core 4.70
and select the PDF-File: SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.70 on Windows: DB2 UDB for UX and Win
(if u have a iSeries Machine take also : Inst.Guide - SAP R/3 Enterprise on Windows 2000 iSeries)

(if u have a OS/390 Machine take also : SAP R/3 Enterprise on Windows: DB2 UDB for OS/390 an z/OS)

You can also take the first PDF-File if u install a 4.x release (skip the 6.x stuff like ICM, J3EE, ...)

Installation procedure in windows 2000 server

Steps:

The system should be in NTFS format.

The system should have a network card or MSloopback adapter installed

configure the TCP/IP

Increase the virtual memory

Install oracle enterprise edition

restart the machine

Install MMC control

Install NTPatch\r3dllins.exe

restart the machine

start the r3setup from the kernal CD

logoff and logon

Goto start -> programs -> sapddxxx-> install central instance

install database instance(length process time) accept the default values

at 91% enter the sapr3 password of your choice

at 95% of installation start the management console

and continue the installation.

the process comes to 100%
that is the end of  installing the application server

Then install the GUI and do the initial configurations
