Setting up DB to comply with SAP
We have to develop a web-based application for an organisation.
The data from our web-based application has to be "sent" to their SAP application. They have provided us with the data dictionary for the table.
But how do we go about setting up our table with the data type provided by them? We will be using MySQL as our database.
How do we also pass data out from our system to SAP?

You never ever ever write direct to the DB in SAP applications.
They will probably have set up the table in SAP already using transaciton SE11 The Data Dictionary.
You will need to call an RFC written in ABAP to fill the table.
Look at the connectors page on SAP.com www.sap.com/connectors to find the connector most suitable - eg if your app is in asp then perhaps the .Net Connector is best, or the Java connector.
You then call the RFC that fills the table using ABAP Open SQL
