Browse All TopicsInstalled IDES on Win2k Server on VM Server. SAP GUI is asking for Host Name and Port. Offers localhost and 21212 but not acceping this. I enter name of server but not accepted. Where can I find what it is expecting. Looked in keydb.xml and found value for host and port empty under SAPGUI section.
Can anyone advise next step?

Dear Debrun,
s\etc\host s file
The problem might be that the host name is not resolved in hosts files
1) Edit C:\WINDOWS\system32\driver
2) check whether entry is there for the required localhost IP, if not add the same
102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com SAPTRANSHOST # COMMENTS
This should solve the problem.
