Why not put it in your app.config file? If you right-click your project in Solution Explorer and go to Properties, you can select the Settings tab. Here you could make a User-scoped setting for your logon information. In your code, you can add a line like
t.SettingN ame
connectionVariableString = Properties.Settings.Defaul
to get the value into code.
I assume you are not concerned about protecting logon information if you go this route.
