Oracle web application session timeout

Hello ,
    I have an oracle web application developed in  9i . How can i set up session timeout for the web application ?  The  client browser session should time out after 10 minutes of inactivity on the client side.
Is it something to be set up on the application server properties ? Or is it something to be done with the Oracle roles on the Database server side ?
