How to Interview a SAP Consultant

We have an opportunity to place some SAP consultants. I am by no means an expert in this area so it is a challenge to interview people who claim to be experts in this area.

Does anyone know of a guideline that can be followed to utilize to interview SAP people.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.
