Thank you for your assistance. I ended up changing the Database login properties to be a database 'Owner' - perhaps that is what was needed. I can now connect. Respectfully, Chopp

Crystal Report Viewer - Failed to Open the Connection
Good Day Experts,
I have not been able to make a data connection from the Crystal Reports Info View website for a particular database. I have successfully made the connection to two other databases and can run those reports on the Info View website. Can you provide me a check list of items to troubleshoot with? After I add the report in the Central Management Console, and attempt to preview the report, the Enter Prompt Values window will display where I can enter my date range parameter values, but then I receive the message, Crystal Report Viewer - 'Failed to open the Connection. 'Report Name' Unable to retrieve object. Failed to open the connection. 'Report Name'
I will appreciate any advice.
