Question

Need to write an Oracle Trigger to Set a Value in the same table

Hi, I've tried searching for the answer,  but can't find it.  Hoping you can help.

Table name = Tasks
Multiple columns  - the only 2 involved are Level_ID and Level
For each row
When Level is equal to "Message"
I want to set Level_ID to "1".

When Level is equal to "Customers"
I want to set Level_ID to "2"

and so on....

I know this can't be that difficult, but I've not  been able to come up with the right combination of code.  THANKS!
