"P2QOG: unknown statement type" error when running some SQL

Hello :-)

I have a stored procedure which runs some SQL.  The procedure is created in Sybase Central 4.1.  When I trigger the stored procedure then it errors with the following message:  "error at line 1; P2QOG: Unknown statement type".  

Running the SQL within the procedure bit-by-bit, runs error-free.  Only appear to have the issue when running the procedure as a whole.  Saying this, the procedure worked for about 2 weeks with no problems.  Only started to happen today.

Do you get the error if you run the procedure through any other client tool?

That's a very old version of Sybase Central by the way. Which Sybase product/version are you using?

I have created a new stored procedure, copied the contents from the original one to the new one.  Now this one works.  Thanks for your posts.

Solution: Create a new stored procedure, copy contents of original and now it's working.
