For Solaris 8 or newer, you don't need to install "top", you should use the native Solaris command "prstat" to do the job.
man prstat
to learn more details.

You've already been given the correct answers, but the fact that you're asking this in both the UNIX and Sybase areas makes me think you're thinking this will tell you how busy your Sybase server is.
It won't.
You need Sybase tools to get answers about Sybase resources. It is absolutely common and expected that a mostly idle Sybase instance could look very busy to UNIX.
If I'm correct that you're really interested in how busy your Sybase stuff is and what resources it's consuming, open a new question in the Sybase area.

Well, you could use 'vmstat':
vmstat 1
which gives you info every second on memory, paging, disk IO and CPU utilization.
But you probably just want to go and fetch/install top from:
