compare Crystal Reports and Microsoft Reporting Tools

How would you compare Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Tools and Access in terms of
1) Ease of Use
2) Security
3) Advantages and Disadvantages of Each program

I have Access 97 database and will have SQL Server Enterprize edition.  Which Reporting tools better use with SQL Server database

I don't think MS Access 97 will be able to report on an MS 200x database.  I may be wrng about that but I suspect it won't.

Unless you have experience with Crystal I would tend to choose the MS reporting tool because it is included with SQL Server Enterprise Edition and it is tuned for use with MS SQL.

Crystal is an excellent tool but it can be a bit pricey and does require so knowledge and a bit of a learning curve.  I haven't used the MS tool but I hear it is excellent though perhaps a bit immature when compared to Crystal.

What types of data will you reporting against?  What types of reports?

How many users?  How will they run the reports?  How often?

Thank you very much. mlmcc, do you agree with TommyTupa that
MSSQL RS has better security and much more difficult to use?
I have never used MSSQL RS so I couldn't say.

I know it is a young product so it may be a little more difficult to use.  I found Crystal more difficult than Access when I started but now when I went back to Access, I found it more difficult.  It really is a matter of what you are using regularly.
