Access 2000 and Pervasive SQL server 2000

Is there in available any driver for Access 2000 that makes it possible to link Pervasive tables without using the ODBC driver shipped with our Pervasive SQL server.

I agree with KangaRoo.  Just curious as to what package is running on the Pervasive P.SQL database you are wanting to go up against.  We are running an accounting package that is not using P.SQL and hte ODBC kit that shipped with it works like a charm.

Thank you for your response.I must admit that I have not worked that much with our Pervasive database system. It is a common system(medical filing) for several clinics pluss our pathology department in our veterinary college. It was until this year a Dataflex system, but now we are only using Dataflex(DOS) frontend and the P. SQL as the backend server. In my department we are developing our own system in Access 2000. We had hoped to still let the data be stored by the Pervasive server. Developers have told us that a ODBC solution will be to slow and the pure Access system will let us down in network environment. The solution will perhaps be that we use ODBC to query the common tables and stick to Access when it comes to storing the data we produce ourselves.
That is a good idea.  I have found with our accounting system that messing with the P.SQL data from Access is REALLY slow.  If you are just linking to tables and running reports or doing lookups then it is not so bad.

And if you use Pass Through queries?
