Problem to click on the MS Access's icon directly
When I clicked on the MS Access icon to open it, I saw a installation
window asking for disc 2. And I inserted disc 2 and later I was told to
restart the window, so I restarted the window. But, the problem
never isn't solved. It still ask me to insert the disc 2.
The only way to open a MS Access file is open the MS Access application
first, then select the file. And it is very annoying.
I have MS Office 2000, other applications are fine, except MS Access.
Please tell me how to solve it, so I can open it
from the icon directly. Thanks !

If you are going to re-install, then it would be in your best interest to uninstall MS Access 2000, then install it. And as abaldwin mentioned, choose all for custom installation.
If you do not attempt to uninstall the product, you may still have corrupted files (if related to Access) laying around in the System file. Also, by not uninstalling, you may still have registry settings with problems.
Hkey_Local_Machine\Softwar
Hkey_Local_Machine\Softwar
Hkey_Local_Machine\Softwar
Hkey_Local_Machine\Softwar
These are just a few of the registry settings that store information, there very well could be more stored several folders deep. (As a matter of fact, there are)
So keep in mind to uninstall before re-installing.
