Export New Outlook messages to Access Database with attachments

I am creating an Access 2000 database which backs up emails sent to an account through Outlook.  I am currently trying to make a macro which sends the body of the email to the database.  However, this is not working very well.  Also, is there any way to transfer attachments to the database, and if so, how?  The Access database has already been set up and works fine as is.

Hello Bigmak40,

this can be done through outlook on the file | import / export | to file [choose access] | etc.....

if you got outlook 2K you could try and record a macro [not sure here] and adjust the code for your purpose

hope this helps a bit

This should work for you, I think. It pulls from Access into Outlook rather than the other way around:

Hmm - not sure about this. No comments were added after the initial question. Were none of the solutions suitable ?
I can wait.  8*)

Sorry I've been on and off again for a while as I was in Hawaii and the internet cafes can charge alot. :)
Anyways, I do agree that I have taken some time from people that use this site; however, I don't think my question was answered as fully as I needed.  I think a good compromise would be to award perhaps 100 points out of the original 250.  Plus, this project at work ended so from now on this is just supplementary learning for me.  As to the posts:
-Bruintje:  kind of restated my question.  I know that I can write a macro to do pull from Access to Outlook in either Access or in Outlook; my question was if anybody how to actually code the macro
-shanesuebsahakarn:  completely wrong direction.  I had emails in an outlook inbox and had to put them into access
-psychodazey:  actual help.
I don't think the response was worth 250 points, but I think 100 points to psychodazey would be fair.  The final decision is up to you and you can do as you wish.

Thanks for taking the time to help me out here,
Michael Kuck (aka bigmak40)

Points reduced from 250 to 100 and awarded to psychodazey
