Access database size limit
What is the Access 2000 database size limit and what happens when it's reached? Thanks.

You could divide your database by Year for example
MASTER2005 (in Masterfile2004.mdb) -> will contain the current Year
MASTER_2004 (in Masterfile2004.mdb) -> will contain the Previous Year
etc.
This is to reduce the size of your database, as they've suggested.
then create a Masterfile.mdb linking all the tables from several .mdb files (above)
- this might be one of the workarounds in managing your data, while planning to buy an expensive data server...
