Outer join in sql server query

Can someone please tell me how do I create an outer join between two tables in sql server query.
This query gives me an error


SELECT     DupTable.API, DupTable.[Lease Name], DupTable.[Field Name], DupTable.[Operator Current Name], DupTable.[Date Completion],
                      DupTable.[Pool Status], DupTable.[Historic Production], Sheet1$.EUR
FROM         DupTable, Sheet1$
