Copying i-tunes files to Windows Media Player

I have noted from other questions that the way to copy i-tunes files to WMP is to go to Advanced and Convert Selection to MP3 on the I Tunes tabs.  However, it stops converting them when it comes across a copy protected file (I am trying to convert them by selecting them all to save effort). How can I convert all my music files on i-tunes by selecting them all and making sure it ignores the copy-protected ones which i know I cannot convert. I have thousands of songs on my ITunes and do not want to have to convert each file to MP3 individually.

Also, once I have done this, how then do I import the copied files to WMP? Also, will these i-tunes files be permanently converted to MP3 files (I would still like to use my I Tunes folder for my I-Pod) or can I change them back? I notice that as I converted a few, copies of the songs appeared in my I-Tunes folder.
