Question

Use Different Program instead of Rhapsody for Music

im trying to find a different program to download, search, etc.. use the rhapsody interface.. but without rhapsody (cause their interface is stale. (or are their skins to completely change it up???)

in any event let me know i would realy like to sue anotehr DRM program to use rhapsodies services without that horrible interface..

Let me see if I understand.. You want to use Rhapsody to download music (I assume you have an account with money there?)  But you don't want to use the Rhapsody program to play them?  

Is it the web interface to purchase the songs, or to play them... or both?

Have you thought of using something different such as Windows Media Player, or Winamp or even (heaven forbid) itunes?

Rhapsody is a digital music service that lets you listen to whatever you want, wherever you are  without paying per track instead you pay for a plan.

yea i see what you are saying;;; is winamp subscription music.. i like being able to download unlimited songs at high quality. So basically i wanted tsomething that was just better designed than the rhapsody player to browse and download music... or a skin for it etc... that was all if winamp is subscription maybe i will give them a try?

No it's free to listen to.24-7
In the winamp media library interface they also have  shoutcast radio and shoutcast TV.
A lot of other sites will play the URL through winamp.
The way rhapsody works is because they are subscription they use thier own media player as a type of carrier for you to use and download through them, hense the liscense or pay for.
For subscription alternatives mp3 .com is good but it's a basic player

yea i just dont like the way the rhapsody player works.. Rhapsody itself is fine.. its just the damn skin of the player. To reskin it and reod the whole player would be nice but i dont know of any skins?

No versions of Rhapsody support skinning at this time maybe if more folks mention it.
