The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

What is the best CD=>MP3 ripping software?

Asked by nikolailazarev in Software for Ripping and Encoding MP3s, MP3 Download Software and Web Sites, General Multi-Media Software, Digital Living Software

Hi,
Could you please tell me what is the best software program for
Audio CD Ripping into MP3. There are hundreds of progs but I am not
sure which one is the best.

I need professional interface, ease of
operation. I need there to be an option allowing to specify the
bitrate for encoding (I usually encode at 320 at constant bit rate).
I presume this gives me the best quality - am I right?

There should be a support to get titles (names of songs) for MP3 from
Internet databases.

All these options are very standard though on any advanced cd ripper.

I would also like the program to support multiple cd ripping function
whereby the program would eject the CD when finished ripping, and
re-start ripping another cd as soon as I insert it (i.e. I do not
have to press any buttons to start ripping).  For your reference this
program does it:

My ultimate goal is to be able to rip CD songs into mp3 at best possible quality, using a clever, sophisticate mp3 ripper, allowing for multiple CD rips, which also has a smart interface and is a pleasure to use.

The program does NOT need to be free, of course.

I work on a modern PC with Vista SP1 installed.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Nik
