convert sds files

I have a large number of sds audio files on my pc.  I'm looking for software that will convert these to either mp3 or wav.  Freeware would obviously be my first choice but I'm willing to pay as well.  Anyone know of software that can do this.  I've searched on google and no luck.

Hi etdreaming, I dont actually know what sds files are, can you elaborate
what's their source?
Can you play them?
Audacity can record off your sound card ( what you hear)
and export them as MP3 or Wav
Labour intensive if you have a huge list but free

Yeah, this is a tough one.  I spent the better part of my wknd trying.  SDS is similiar to MIDI and is used by smartsound.  I have a bunch of these sound files from pinacle studio and pinacle uses smartsound.  I need them for another application but I can't load sds let alone edit them.  I'll try these solutions.  thx.
