Thanks. Gspot says the file is empty (0 bytes) but properties indicates it is not empty. The file was downloaded, was not renamed and played perfectly in WMP one day, but not the next day. This applies to most of my files. Old ones that I jad before play correctly. The new files were downloaded from a.b.sounds.mp3.
Why would they play pefrectly one day and the stop playing the next day?

Playing the file may result in unexpected behavior.
Your question implies this to all music files?
Or just some?
Has it been renamed? Is this an itunes track from a library from an ipod?
Drop them onto gspot and find out what it is.
