you must have the setup cd for it, or you should be able to download from dell website if it came preinstalled on your system
so get it, and install it, once installed, should rectify the problem.

So I did a Windows Recovery and it seemed to work. The problem I am having now is that it is in a constant Windows Installer loop trying to install the Roxio software (I don't have the disk, it was preloaded on the Dell machine). Then I tried to run the Windows Installer Utility and that wouldn't work because it says that I have another install in progress. Is there anyway I can stop this so I can uninstall Roxio and hopefully fix the problem?
Thanks!

Startup in Safe Mode then from Start Run type:msconfig
Look in Startup for any Roxi related files. I have it installed on my system functioning and only see RoxwatchTray , DrgToDsk, So assume any other Roxi file would be the culprit.
Also look at Services, In there I see RoxMediaDB , RoxUPnPRenderer , Roxio Hard DisK Watacher,
RoxUPnpServer .
You can disable those aswell and you should be able to reboot normally and Roxio then shouldn't run.

Uninstall it from add remove programs?
Look in program files for any empty folders that belonged to the previous roxio and delete them.
Install the windows installer cleanup utility and run it if problems persist
http://support.microsoft.c
Your DEL should have a recovery partition that has all your drivers backed up.
Look in disc manager computer management control panel administrative tools
If you have two instances running that may indicate windows attempted to auto install and you interchanged and started your own thus maybe some other software has grabbed the installer with something else such a USB instead of CDrom.
Take a look in device manager go to VIEW show hidden devices then look for your duplicates other devices yellow question marks.
R/click the correct one and update, if that fails uninstall all of them.
You may have to do this in safemode.
To access safemode you may need to use a generic keyboard some keyboards have the F8 key utilised for other shortcuts therefor safemode is no accessable.
Find an old keyboard.
F8 and choose safemode with networking.
