I can really only help you with the updates.
"Check for Updates" can be disabled by going into "Program Updates" in the Control Panel, then click on "Change Update Settings". Uncheck "Roxio Creator DE", and (optionally) set the bottom selection, that has Installshield NOT check for updates.
The online store, because rather than being something within a program but rather launches a web browser, isn't disable-able without fiddling with firewall settings to disable access to, well, roxio.com.
