iTunes replacement in Ubuntu

What's the best alternative for iTunes on Linux.? I have Ubuntu Intrepid and I would like a media player that will allow me to synchronize my music to my iphone and ipod.

Also, I tried running iTunes with wine, but I had no luck... my friend told me it's not possible to run iTunes on linux.  Is this correct?

Nope it has been done. But I don't like iTunes enough to go through getting it to work on WINE. I use Amarok
