How can I make a movie file to self destruct after a time

Hello,

I am trying to find a software to make a movie file self destructing. I want
the file to delete itself when the user attempts to open it, for example
1 month later than the creation time of the file. Which software can I
use?

Note: I am NOT trying to do a virus, I will send a clip to one of my friends but
I want the file to be erased after 1 month. I want to be sure that the clip
will be erased.

i dont think thats possible without an application , they need to run an application for it to do something , i could make a basic app for you if you like , whats the video name , also do u want the person to know that its going to delete?

I do not want the person to know it will be deleted. Video's name is "holiday.wmv". Can the video be self-playing like self-extracting rar files? So that the player application will delete itself/video when it is attemped to be played e.g. after 1 months? Do you mean this? If you can do, that will be the solution exactly.

Typically this is done via DRM - basically, the DRM is set to not allow play after a certain period or number of plays.

yea although you have to pay for DRM , and also it deletes after a certain amount f plays whereas the person wants it to delete after a certian amount of days
