How to convert animated gifs to mov for use in powerpoint

I have migrated from Win XP to Mac OS X.  Now my Powerpoint slides containing animated gifs are no longer animated.  I presume that in order to restore animation that I need to convert the gifs to mov files (unless there is another solution).  How do I do this?  Thanks. Rick

unless you capture them or something then save as mov
use an xp system to save the gifs as mov and transfer to Mac.
I'm  running xp but just tested converting an animated gif to mov in Super and works a treat, drop the gif on and set the output to mov

used super and the directshow decode filter converted your Doctor1 from gif to .mov. Took all of 3 secs
 can't upload here as .mov is not supported

Thank you.  Super does the trick.  I also discovered that Quicktime PRO also does the conversion effortlessly.  It opens the gif (The non-pro version does not) and then save it as a mov file. Thanks for the quick reply too.

oh I forgot to add if you use Super again,
 you can drop a lot of these gif's onto super and convert enmass. Just disable the audio part.
