1. The volume of the video or file you downloaded has nothing to do with the volume you were playing it with. The sound is embedded into the file and no matter where you play it, you can expect it to be on the lower/upper range. There are programs out there to boost sound, but I haven't used them too much.
2. When burning Audio/Video with Nero, you won't get a chance to increase/lower volume. Nero burns the data as it receives it from the file. If you want to burn with higher volume, you'll need to run some kind of sound booster, and re-record the audio, or, re-encode the sound with higher volume and then burn it.
3. Yes you can expect the same quality. Quality is only degraded when you encode/compress videos or sometimes changing the format of the video. In this case, you're safe.
4. Yes. To figure out the resolution of the video, right click the video file in question in windows explorer and go to properties. On the advanced tab you will see Resolution: 800X640.. etc.
5. This question is King. It encompasses all the other questions, and basically to view your video in mostly any device out there (cannot guarantee ALL devices), you'll need to convert/encode/compress the video into something all DVD players can read. Nero won't do this for you. For this, there are vast amounts of tools onliine which you can google (type on google: "convert .*extension of your video file* to dvd")
Depending on the convertion process your video may suffer from little to medium quality degradation depending on the settings you choose while converting. You can convert your video to .avi, .mpeg, .mpeg4.. and so on. Once you get the correct extension, you can get Nero to 'Burn Video' and add your video file.\
