No additioinal Comments. We saw the manual settings at REAL and it was a sometimes works sometimes doesn't . Most likely an ISP issue

Video play anywhere from a few minutes to as much as 1 hr and 27 minutes (and counting) before getting a Real Player SP V1.0 error message: "Invalid Socket Error" Error occurs on multiple machines, from within the network or when using a laptop and Verizon aircard for direct connection to internet. Any ideas why it plays for a long time and then just fails?

Can't say why it works for a while then stops al/board/m essage? boa rd.id=real player&thr ead.id=203 19
maybe interference from software onboard heat with the router or video card lost connection, ISP resetting their modems some do that most annoying.
Here"s a tips from Real offering a couple of other ideas to fix on the error "Invalid Socket Error"
Solution 6: Manually configure RealPlayer to use HTTP only
and to try adjusting your RealPlayer settings to 'No proxy'
