No I have not tried that one yet, though at some intern et site I found that xd5e was supposed to be a hardware decoder, but if so I wouldnt know what to do.
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI have this .mov-video coming from a Sony EX-3 and though I have Quicktime up and running on my PC it just won't play. It seems to have a codec: xd5e. When I double click it it goes to an internet page full of commercial software, without saying which one I need.
Anyone knows how I can make this video visible?

Have you tried using an alternative Video player called VLC Player which is very good at supporting a wider range of codecs and video formats than Quicktime c/
