Recovered .mov file won't play

Zones: Quicktime Player, General Multi-Media Software

I accidentally deleted a file, but managed to recover it using GetDataBack.

However it won't play anymore. It's a video of my first born, i'm desperate to get it working again.
Can anyone recommend any software that might fix the file?

When I open it in Quicktime it says "Error -2048: Couldn't open the file ####.mov because it is not a file that QuickTime understands."

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
