WMP Windows Media Player ActiveX IWmpVideoSettingsCtrl

Anyone know how to get to the IWmpVideoSettingsCtrl interface in the windows media player activeX?  I am using Delphi 7, but examples in this or any other language would be most welcome.  I hope I don't have to create a skin, in order to get to this interface.

I am trying to do something really simple, adjust brightness and contrast.   It also occurred to me that a work around would be to simply get the media player menu to appear withing the client app.  Then these settings could be accessed under the View Menu.
