How to upload SONY HANDYCAM SR11 onto iMac using Final Cut Studio 2?

I have a new Sony HANDYCAM HDR-SR11 camcorder connected via USB to an iMac running OS X 10.4.11. I've got both iMovie 08 and Final Cut Pro. iMovie 08 recognizes the camcorder and automatically uploads, but I cant get Final cut pro to do the same. Can someone help me be able to upload videos into Final Cut Pro. Thank you in advance!Start Free Trial
