I have a webcam I am trying to use. When I plug it into my usb port it registers in my computer I can see the icon and everything.. When I try to open it in yahoo messenger it says.. It is not connected . How can this be? Can someone give me a solution to try so that I may get this working?
Now when I go to my computer it lists it there when I try to open it it says creation of the video preview failed
Please check the device connection and make sure that the device is not being used by another application or user.
What can I check to see if it might be in use by someone else or something else? And if it is how can I stop it so I can run it on this other program?
I know for a fact I myself am the only " user " on this computer, this is the first time I have used it and I am not using it with anything else.
any suggestions?
