That was it - I tried it on a different SD card reader, and the files could be deleted. &nbsp;I then added a new file to the card and tried to delete it using the &quot;bad&quot; reader, and it didn't work again. &nbsp;I'll contact the manufacturer. &nbsp;Thanks!

I have a PNY Technologies 2 GB SD card that has files on it that I don't need. However, when I try to delete them or reformat the card, I get a warning that the card is write protected. I've tried it with the &quot;Lock&quot; pin in both positions and get the same message each time. I can access the files (see them in My Computer and open them), but can't delete or cut them off the card. I have a hard time believing that the card is defective. Any ideas?
