Complete Access to Motorola Razr V3 files.

I want to acces all files on my cell phone Motorola Razr V3 - not just photos, contacts, calendar, I have tried BVRP's software and Mobile Action's software - (tow peas in a pod and not very good either) with no success.  I want to see the entire memory including ringtones and games (included and downloaded).
Is there a way to do this? After all it's just a memory device that I want to examine.

BITPM Appears to be for the V3m.  My Box only says V3.

JKJ
Bitpim works for a wide range of phones, although it may not have been specifically tested with the V3
My boss has the V3 and we had to purchase motorola tools 4 from
http://www.store.motorola.com/mot/en/US/adirect/motorola;jsessionid=03E7C8CCC85950044D578C2A04B87FB3.mot5?cmd=catDisplayStyle&catKey=600960

in order to get all the sync features and files.
Again, it depends on who your provider is. MPT (Motorola Phone Tools) capability is disabled by some providers, Verizon being notorious for this. It doesn't have to stay that way, but you risk losing warranty, etc. if you change it.
I know almost all of this about my Razr3, Motorola, and Cingular.  I have Motorola's Mobile tools, Mobile Actions Handset manager and have tried many others. I want all they way into the memory including the stuff i paid to download.
If MPT will not access ringtones, etc on your phone, then your phone is likely set to prevent such access. The solution will void your warranty, and perhaps your service agreement with Cingular. That solution is a SEEM edit to change the settings that prevent you from having full access.
O.K. I What is a SEEM edit?
A SEEM edit is an edit to the firmware of your cellular phone. It voids the warranty, is likely to be against the service agreement, and if it fails, could turn your phone into a small brick with buttons.

As I mentioned, many providers limit the functionality that's built into the phone, by turning features off in the firmware. You have to edit it to turn them back on. There are forums dedicated to this, due to Experts Exchange's rules, I won't elaborate further.
hizzonerjkj,
Welcome to EE.
I see that you are one of our newest members.

I would like you to review our grading procedures (link below) and keep in mind that what you were asking comes very close to violating EE guidelines for the kind of information we can provide to other Members.

lherrou was working with you and responding to each post you made, and then you closed the question without further comment.

I am going to re-open this question and ask that you clarify any follow-up questions you might have. Please keep in mind that a "C" is the lowest possible grade you can give and it should almost never be awarded as long as the Expert is continuing to work with you.

Thank you and - again - welcome to EE.

What's the right grade to give?
Although we use an A-C scale here at Experts Exchange, it works differently than, say, school grades. If one or more Experts' proposals are accepted as answers, they should usually be given an A or B grade, since they have taken the time to provide you with a working solution. If a possible solution is incomplete, ask for clarification or details before accepting the answer and grading it. People should not be given lower grades because of incorrect grammar or because you just accepted their answer or comment to close the question. The following is a good guideline to follow when grading:
A: The Expert(s) either provided you with a thorough answer or they provided you with a link to information that thoroughly answered your question. An "A" can also be given to any answer that you found informative or enlightening beyond the direct question that you asked.
B: The Expert(s) provided an acceptable solution, or a link to an acceptable solution, that you were able to use, although you may have needed a bit more information to complete the task.
C: Because Experts' reliability are often judged by their grading records, many Experts would like the opportunity to clarify if you have questions about their solutions. If you have given the Expert(s) ample time to respond to your clarification posts and you have responded to each of their posts providing requested information; or if the answers, after clarification, lack finality or do not completely address the issue presented, then a "C" grade is an option. You also have the option here of just asking Community Support to delete the question.
Remember, the Expert helping you today is probably going to be helping you next time you post a question. Give them a fair chance to earn an 'Excellent!' grade and they'll provide you with some amazing support. It's also true that a "C" is the lowest grade you can give, and the Experts know that -- so use it judiciously.
The use of a C in a vindictive manner is likely to be changed by a Moderator. You may not like the answer you get, and in some cases, and you may not like the way it is delivered, but if it is deemed to be accurate, no less than a B is an acceptable grade.

I asked an innocentr question and was told that I was attempting to do something illegal or wrong - I don't see it that way as it is my phone, my software, etc. If verizon wants to void the warranty I don't care - I canget another one. Telling me I could do soething called a SEEM edit and failing to tell me what it was was no help either. Now a lecture from you. - we can just forget it and you can close me out and refund the unused portion of my fee. I asked several other much more mundane questions and haven't gotten any help and the site is cumbersome. I do not care to be called vindictive and would be happy to just end this relation ship.
Let's just forget the whole thing  - I just got the type of answe I had hoped to see whenever I put in a question. In fact the DNS answers I got are so vuluminous that it will talke me several days to go through them.

As for the Motorola Question - Given the SEEM edit clue - I found the answer on my own - Give the man
an A for effort.
