Nokia e71 - How to stop having to unlock the auto key pad lock every x minutes. I have a phone lock - dont need this.
Im happy with the phone lock, (set with my own password) I dont need the keypad lock every x minutes, its anoying. To free it I have to hit the top left and bottom left key.
Is there a way to disable it - I have tried.
ASKER
Phone not connected to anything bar a laptop / blue tooth.
Keypad Autolock period - "disabled"
Phoen auto lock - 5 mins - I have defined this.
On a hunch I will put Keypad Autolock period - "59" mins
I can deal with that. But as far as I know last time, it did the same and auto locked anyway.

There should be a setting for that under Tools -> Settings -> General -> Security, look for Keypad Lock and set to disable. However, I have seen some discussion of this, and evidently this cannot be disabled in some circumstances (if you are connecting to an Exchange server, for example).
