Browse All TopicsHi, I bought a new dvd recorder/player and I'm trying to listen to MP3 compilation on it, but it's always giving me this error message : "Playback feature may not be available on this disc"
I burnt movies on the same disc's brand and played it on this dvd player this week, so I guess this is not a dvd type concern ...
I burnt my mp3 compilation with Nero 8 (data burning)
I tried with two kind of discs, one with no label (this one worked with movies on it), the other one is Phillips RW DVD+R 4.7Gb 1-16x.
Thank you !

Today I went at the store where I bought the DVD Recorder, and they told me that the DVD recorders/players cans only read MP3 burnt on CD, not on DVD, so I tried with a CD, and it works well now, but I was sure that it was possible to use DVD... I'm a little bit disappointed because DVD's offers way much space to store my MP3 than CD's. Do you know if this theory is right ? Another sales person also told me that rewritable discs are not good to play MP3... It's so confusing !!
Thanks
