THANK YOU. I never even thought to try right clicking on any of those buttons.

Here's what happened. I have a ton of DVDs. Recently, I started putting my WD Passports to good use, by ripping a copy of several kids movies to one passport drive. Now I can carry the passport with me when travelling to an elementary school I work at, and in a real crunch time, I've got 50 movies the kids can watch, without carrying my 50 DVDs. I'm a genius. :)
Unfortunately, when I tried this, several of the movies, the subtitles will not turn off. I tried copying it to the hard drive, no difference. I began to try several different movies, and most, have this problem, but not all. For instance, Stargate Ark of Truth, doesn't have this problem. It takes a few clicks, and I think you have to set it to Spanish subtitles, but if you cycle through all the available subtitle options, there is one that will get rid of them. Not the case with PeterPan, or Robin Hood. So....
How do I get this to stop ?
thanks.
ps-- I did a search in the knowledge base and found people asking the reverse question, how do I get the subtitles turned on? That was funny :)

Did you try right-clicking on the subtitle button? That should give you a list of subtitles with an option to disable it.
