The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. I have a brand new Gateway DX4300-03 pc that is giving me the following error code while trying to create the Recovery Disks. 0x205 Burning failed. Please insert a blank cd/dvd into the optical drive

I am trying to create a recovery disk set, and get the following error:
error code 0x205
Burning failed. Please insert a blank CD/DVD into the ooptical drive and press ok to continue.
I have tried DVD's and Cd-r's with the same result. I can use the drive to play music cd's and rip music using Media Player. The general Exception in details reads as follows:
Value was either too large or too small for an INT32. Error Code 517:Disc Type:CD

This Pc is loaded with Vista Home Premium 64bit OS. Any help would be much appreciated.
