In search of a good DVD burning sodtware

Hi Experts!

I have Roxio "Easy" Media Creator 9...

It has a pretty pretty nice "DVD for Idiots" interface... (Perhaps am an idiot?)

When I click "create a DVD" it starts a new application. That application has pretty pretty menus and a default dvd menu. You can change that dvd menu. But I don't want any menu and after long search it appears that this stupid software forces me to have one! When I click play, it plays the film generic and repeat it (without the main movie) What a piece of s....

I HATE THAT CRAP!

Can someone suggest a real DVD burning software.

I want to be able to
 . Create data DVDs (on DVR+RW or DVD+R DL)
 . Make backups (on DVR+RW or DVD+R DL)
 . Copy DVD (if possible DVR-R DL to DVD+R DL)
 . Am running Vista Ultimate x64 (can live with WOW)
 . I don't need bypassing copyrights...
