Using win XP. media player 11. Mp3 player worked twice .Now I have a yellow explanation point in device manager. When trying to reinstall drivers. I get error message Cannot install hardware an error occurred during the installation of device. A service installation in the inf is invalid. Looked on net for resolution but, none suitable. Thanks for any help in advance.

Problem is samsung currently does not have drivers for download. I try using windows to reinstall drivers thats when i get the error message about inf problem. The mp3 only shows up in device manager when connected. But,does not show as a drive in my computer. And will not show up as a device in media player 11. Please help me and point in the right direction for where to look in application and system logs and also what to look for? thanks for helping me.
What's the full model number? Samsung has a variety of devices up that match YP-U2J but they all include additional letters. I do see drivers for a number of these players though, such as:

Please tell me the entire product / model number and I'll get the drivers for you - but they should be on the Samsung site.

Try removing the device entirely from device manager, downloading the drivers again, and reinstalling. Make sure you're using the latest drivers for your device as well. If that doesn't work, let me know if the error is the same or if it's different. Does anything show up in the application or system logs?
