That looks more like it - actually have read around this a bit more if this is a Bose unit you should be able to power up the radio while holding down keys '1' & '6' and the serial should display on the screen.
It also seems in the US you can get the info you need by ringing Honda's 800 number, not sure what the equivalent will be where you are but the point is you can get the info remotely.
On the radio itself you should have three numbers:
Model#
Ref#
Serial#
but not always in that order!

That's not the serial - it's the model #. The number you need for the dealer unlock is embossed on the top of the player case so you need to remove it from the dash. If you have the original manual it should be in there on a peel off label. If the label is missing the dealers usually stick them in the glovebox so check in there first.
Getting the unlock from the dealer should be free but they will charge to get the player out of the dash so they can see the number. Depending on how good their records are they might also be able to get it from your VIN plate.
