Recording Tv on windows XP box

I want to use my computer as a DVR to recored Tv shows. I have a ATI TV Wonder Usb cable conectior. now i am not sure what software i should use to recored, Is there a TVIO or Pc i am not sure were to even start.

Take a look at BeyondTV as a TIVO-like recorder: http://www.snapstream.com/products/beyondtv/.  I use it and am very satisfied with it.  You will need a fairly large hard drive if you intend to keep recordings, or you will need an external drive.

I would just use what is recommended by ATI - for their TV Wonder USB software.  This should have came with your hardware.  Which is free.

i can not get any d channels? nothing over 99 what can i do?

Digital channels show up as subchannels, like 50.1, and are in the UHF band.  The convention that cable companies use is totally arbitrary (notice they are also all integers, which does not reflect over-the-air broadcasts).
