D430 laptop both laptop and flat panel stay in screen shrunk mode even with lid closed

New D430 with port replicator and flat panel attached.  With lid open or closed both screens are showing the shrunk mode which should only be when the lid of the laptop is open.  When one closes the lid the flat panel should display a full screen which it doesn't.  I have scanned the Dell site and can't find this issue anywhere.Start Free Trial
