Browse All Topicsi am trying to make the video i edit, full screen so i can play it on my 42 inch widescreen hdtv. so, i edited the video in movie maker, i saved the edited movie to a dvd widescreen quality format to my desktop. then, i burned that file onto a dvd using windows vista dvd maker. now, when i play the dvd in my tv, it has a grey border around the video and it will not go to full screen. this is kind of annoying. it reminds me of when i try to watch tv in regular format, i have to change the aspect ratio of the tv, to watch it in widescreen. however, i cannot do that with dvds, its only the tv channels. so basically, i need to figure out how to make the file i burn, play from widescreen format to begin with. please help!

did you keep a copy of the original?
I think your problem is the movie was edited to a dvd widescreen quality format
choose widescreen or standard format to publish a slide show or movie that looks best on your TV.
The Aspect ratio is the end quality you see.
Use the standard format 4.3 video scale.
It is a pity they give you options to choose from instead of just burning the standard default DVD settings.
