slingplayer change inputs

I have a slingbox A/V with two inputs, composite and s-video. I would like to create two PC desktop shortcuts for the slingplayer application where each shortcut launches a different input. I know how to change inputs after the slingplayer is launched, but I would like to avoid doing that. Is this possible?
