Any way to fix my LCD screen?

Hi,
I have this tv and a wii remote was thrown into it. It's an JVC Genessa. The pixels in the bottom middle are completely dead, but some of the pixels to the right seem to have life in them. They'll change with what the screen is showing, but they only form solid vertical and horizontal bars of color. There are also a few bars of color that are completely the same color going down the center of the screen. Would there be anything I can do to fix this stuff, short of taking the tv in to a repair shop?
I've attached to pictures so you can see the change in the pixels.
