This is mainly a info question!
I need to setup a LCD monitor and have a video play over and over during the day, and setup where there is not a whole lot of support on it. The videos will be create by someone else and they will be managing it also.
I have no issues with mounting the monitor nor connecting the video. The question I have is what is a good solution to stream videos to this monitor and provide the least support to get it running.
My idea was to take a pc that we were about to dispose of, and get a video card and outputs to connect rca jacks into, then feed to the monitor. I know this will work, but wanted to get some insight from someone that has setup something like this. I would like to keep the cost small if at all possible. it would be nice to setup something other than RDP to manage the videos.
Hopefully this makes sense to someone
